Michigan COVID-19 Update: Permission to Practice

On June 5, 2020, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued Executive Order (EO) 2020-114 (https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/06/05/file_attach...), allowing massage therapists, estheticians, hair salons, barbershops, and nail professionals to resume business operations. Zones 6 and 8 (Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula) will reopen June 10, 2020. The remainder of the state will reopen June 15, 2020.

Governor John Carney announced Phase 2 of Delaware’s Reopening (https://governor.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2020/06/Delawa...), permitting hair salons, barbershops, massage therapy services, nail salons, spas, facials, waxing services, brow services, and similar personal care services to resume business operations June 15, 2020.

Minnesota COVID-19 Update: Permission to Practice June 1, 2020

Per section 7.(c).(vii) on page 8 of Executive Order 20-63 (https://mn.gov/governor/assets/EO%2020-63%20Final_tcm1055-433759.pdf) issued by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on May 27, 2020, businesses providing personal care services, including massage therapy establishments, spas, salons, nail salons, cosmetology salons, esthetician salons, advanced practice esthetician salons, eyelash salons, and barbershops, may resume operations June 1, 2020.

On May 29, 2020, Governor Philip B. Scott amended Executive Order 01-20 (https://governor.vermont.gov/sites/scott/files/documents/ADDENDUM%2016%2...), moving more businesses into Phase 2 of Restart Vermont. Businesses, including massage therapy establishments, spas, and nail salons, may resume operations in a limited, incremental, and phased capacity June 1, 2020.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: Permission to Practice June 1, 2020

New Mexico Department of Health Secretary Kunkel issued a Public Health Emergency Order (https://cv.nmhealth.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/060120-PHO.pdf) today, permitting close contact businesses, including barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, massage therapy establishments, and esthetician clinics, to resume business operations June 1, 2020, at 25 percent occupancy.
