The California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (Board) issued a notice September 21, 2022, to remind licensees that it is unlawful to provide mobile services without a Personal Service Permit (PSP). Those who provide services in a client’s home, hotel, or any other location outside of a licensed establishment need a PSP.
