OK State Board of Comsetology and Barbing adopts new rules effective September 11, 2022
The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering created a limited specialty cosmetology license to regulate the practice of threading. The Board created the new threading license through rules under the current cosmetology act, which were approved by Governor Stitt on November 1, 2021.
The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering (OSBCB) adopted new and amended rules to the OSBCB Regulations and Statute Book effective September 11, 2020. ASCP has summarized the rules for you below.
