Frontline Fortnight

Hair salons and hair professionals have always played a personal part in the lives of others. Each day, they prepare clients for a meeting or a parent-teacher conference, and at one point or another the client takes a quick look in the mirror to make sure they look the part. Something as simple as a haircut can turn someone’s day around, give them confidence, or give them power.

Frontline Fortnight was developed by hairstylists Lucy Halperin, Jeremy Tardo, and Amanda Shuttleworth as a platform to connect salons and hair stylists with hospital workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. From May 23–June 5, those involved in the fight can sign up to receive free hair services at participating salons. The past year hasn’t been easy for anyone, but Frontline Fortnight hopes this small gesture shows the immense gratitude we all have for those who risk the most.

Frontline Fortnight has been fortunate enough to partner with influential figures such as celebrity hair stylists David Babaii and Benjamin Mohapi from Benjamin Salon, Johnnie Sapong and Mara Roszak from Mare Salon, Johnny Ramirez from Ramirez Tran Salon, Kim Kimble, and Cherin Choi, along with Méche Salon, Sally Hershberger Salon, 901 Salon, and more.

Now is your chance to help give back to frontline medical workers on a national scale. Together we can make a visible difference in the lives of those who have been working tirelessly since the pandemic began. Every service counts. Salons and hairstylists everywhere can participate by signing up at www.frontlinefortnight.com.
