Wella Company Announces Winners of the 2021 International TrendVision Award
WeCreate, a global digital event hosted by the Wella Company, announced the winners of the 2021 Wella International TrendVision Award (ITVA) on Sunday, April 25, 2021. The competition was hosted in 28 countries worldwide, with nearly 5,000 entries, crowning 21 winners across seven categories, including color, styling, editorial focus, and nail art. International TrendVision brought together the talent and craft of hair and nail professionals across all key industry categories.
The Wella International TrendVision Award has become one of the most coveted accolades in the hairdressing industry, providing opportunities and unique industry visibility to the winners. Due to COVID-19, the TrendVision Award competition was hosted in a completely digital format launched on the @wellahair Instagram.
The sole winner from North America was Ashton Harlon (@misashton) from Scratch Nail Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ashton took home gold in the OPI Nail Artist category. “Ashton is a perfect example of mastery of the medium, perfect meticulous precision execution, and out-of-the-box imaginative artistry,” says Heather Reynosa, category judge and OPI Director Global Education Design.
