Thank you to everyone who made submissions for AHP Hair Pro of the Year! The winner will be notified soon!

A nominee’s essay must be original work that has not been previously published, does not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property, and is a truthful account of the nominee’s life story.
The winner will be chosen by AHP staff. The winner must agree to a background check to confirm eligibility and story details.
The winner must accept a gifted year of membership to Associated Hair Professionals.
Winner must continue their AHP membership throughout the entire year (approximately August 2026–July 2027) as the “Hair Pro of the Year” so they can fairly represent AHP.
At the discretion of AHP, the winner may be disqualified for the following reasons:
- Winner is not eligible as determined by background check.
- Winner does not truthfully represent their life story.
- Winner does not accept a year of AHP membership and/or does not continue AHP membership for the entirety of their year as the winner.
All decisions are final.
Deadline for submissions is 11:59 P.M. on July 1, 2026.
Winner must agree not to discuss their win or share news about their win until the publication of the AHP Indie Stylist issue featuring their article.
The winner will be notified in July 2026. AHP staff will schedule a photo shoot with the winner for August or September 2026, depending on availability.
The winner will receive a feature article in a future issue of AHP Indie Stylist magazine.
